We are changing the way we introduce you to the Police Officer role. Our engagement events will be an interactive insight into all different parts of the role and recruitment process, where you will get the chance to:
Learn about the stages of the police recruitment process – from application to interview and assessment centre;
You’ll understand what’s required from the fitness test, see the test in action and better understand self-defense training;
You’ll learn about the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship from the internal training team and University teaching team – a new entry route into policing;
Talk to internal professionals about our eligibility requirements for the role;
Talk to a breadth of experienced officers at different stages in their career to find out what the role is really like.
