ASSEMBLY OPERATIVES – Sunderland
Pinpoint Recruitment are currently searching for assembly operators for long term vacancies in and around the surrounding areas of Washington
This is an excellent opportunity to work on behalf of our client as a Production Operative in one of the UK’s leading automotive manufacturing companies. Due to a rapid period of growth our client is currently searching for candidates to enter a growing workforce.
Duties in work will involve the operation of robotic welding cells to produce parts to company targets, general maintenance on the machines and housekeeping duties, quality inspection and accurate record taking and completion of paperwork.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience of working in a fast paced production/assembly environment, (preferably within the automotive industry). They should also be able to demonstrate the ability to cope with that environment for a number of months/years. Candidates must be willing to work overtime after shifts and on weekends and be flexible to work a 3 shift system of Days, Lates and Nights.
Full training will be provided and ongoing throughout the placement. Competitive pay rates are available, with shifts and overtime working paid at a premium rate. Regular appraisals will occur to acknowledge your contribution. Permanent contracts are offered following a successful probationary period.
Rates of pay: Minimum Wage - £9.75 per hour (Basic rates) plus overtime rates
